How the service works, what you are paying for, and what we both agree to.
Signal Portrait is an online professional portrait studio. You upload a set of selfies, choose one or more professional contexts, and we use generative AI to create portraits in your private in-app gallery. Delivery time varies with queue, provider availability, selected styles, and retry activity; the product shows live status instead of promising an unmeasured deadline.
Signal Portrait is sold as one-time credit packs — no subscription and no recurring charge. The current packs are Starter, Professional, and Executive. Prices are listed on the pricing page.
Payment is processed by Stripe. One credit authorizes one portrait generation in one selected style. Credits currently do not expire. The balance is debited only when the pack and its generation rows are queued atomically.
We do not currently advertise an automatic likeness or favorite-count money-back guarantee. A generation that fails after all configured retries returns one credit automatically. Duplicate charges, unauthorized payments, missing purchased credits, or a material failure to provide the paid service can be submitted for payment review by emailing hello@dynexhq.com with the account email and Stripe receipt or Checkout Session reference. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Bank processing time is outside our control. This policy does not limit non-waivable consumer rights.
As between you and Signal Portrait, we do not claim ownership of your input photos. Subject to applicable law and the terms of the AI providers used to generate a result, you may use delivered portraits for personal and commercial professional-profile purposes.
AI-generated material may not qualify for copyright protection in every jurisdiction. We do not promise exclusivity, registrability, or that a generated image cannot resemble other material. We will not use your photos in our marketing without your written permission.
All portraits are generated by AI from your selfies. Strong likeness is a product goal, not a guaranteed score. Results vary with the quality and variety of input photos, provider behavior, and selected style. Review every portrait before using it in a context where accuracy or identity verification matters.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Signal Portrait's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant pack. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Switzerland.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email if changes are material. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
